Want to learn how to ice skate? You're in the right place!
Vacaville Ice Sports offers skating lessons for ALL ages & abilities, from tiny tots to adults. Our Skating Academy is designed to take a student step by step from very basic skating skills to an advanced competitive level. Group lessons are taught by our highly qualified coaching staff with an excellent student-teacher ratio. Skate rental is always included.

Classes are 35* minutes in length, once per week.

Registration

All registrations require a DaySmart Recreation account (even in-person drop-ins at the door!).

Full 10-week semesters are $220* Cost will be automatically pro-rated in the shopping cart.

Full semester sign-ups are welcome until week 2 of each semester.

Classes are offered in 10-week semesters approximately:
Jan-Mar / Mar-May / May-July / Aug-Oct / Oct-Dec

Want to join in after week 2? Can't commit to the full 10 weeks? No problem! Just select the drop-in option, only available first 7 weeks.
*Class length, number of weeks, public skate passes, and cost will vary for the class selected.
*Please note, you must be 18 years of age or older to create a DaySmart account. Parents/Guardians should add their child to their account under "Add Family Member".

OFF-ICE CONDITIONING
Ready to land your Axel, or take it to the next level? The Advanced Axel Class is designed specifically for skaters who are working toward landing their first Axel, as well as those looking to refine and strengthen the one they already have.

OFFERED TUESDAY AT 5:30PM

Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly off-ice ballet class designed to support skaters of all ages. Students will build coordination, confidence, and rhythm while improving balance, flexibility, control, and musicality—essential skills for success on the ice. All ages welcome.

OFFERED THURSDAYS AT 6:15PM
​
Take your skating to the next level with this off-ice training class designed specifically for figure skaters. This session focuses on agility, flexibility, jump technique, strength, and body control to directly support on-ice performance and confidence. Skaters will work on proper movement mechanics and conditioning in a structured, supportive environment.

Join us as we combine the joy of skating with the convenience of utilizing educational funds for an active learning experience.

We are currently set up with Visions In Education, Sequoia Grove Alliance, Clarksville Charter School, Feather River Charter School, Lake View Charter School, and Compass Charter School.
HOW TO SIGN UP
Sign up on your schools website by submitting a voucher. Your school will notify us of your child's enrollment and we will handle the rest. Please refer to our pricing schedule listed below and be sure to submit your voucher for the proper amount.
HOME SCHOOL PRICES
Prices below reflect full semester pricing. Full semester pricing is only available until March 28th 2026. Prices are pro rated to reflect the number of weeks missed. After March 28th, you will be required to submit a voucher for the drop in rate of $25 per class.
When submitting your voucher, refer to this pricing and schedule.

Full 10 week semester is available only if you sign up prior to the first class, which is 3/19/2026.
