A Vacaville Ice Sports Birthday Party is designed to be enjoyable for all ages and aims to alleviate the stress of party planning. With pizza, soda, round cake, decorations and all paper products taken care of, we make sure your party is relaxing, memorable and exciting for you and your child.
What To Expect
The Vacaville Ice Sports birthday party begins with a one-hour celebration in the party room for eating, celebrating, and enjoying cake. Following this, guests will gather their personal belongings and proceed to the skate counter to be fitted with skates. Participants will then have the opportunity to enjoy a couple of hours of fun-filled skating on the ice.
What Is Included
A Vacaville Ice Sports birthday party package includes skate passes, goodie bags, and glow sticks for 12 guests. Also included is 3 cheese or pepperoni pizzas, a selection of soda, lemonade, and water, a personalized round birthday cake with candles, a Chilly the Penguin hat, access to the Vaca Ice treasure chest for the birthday person, balloons, and all necessary paper products, tablecloths, and decorations. Last, but not least, your party host will conduct a 20-minute on-ice beginner skate lesson and games for everyone to enjoy.

Party Schedule
Each celebration begins with a one-hour party room festivity, followed by a few hours of enjoyable skating! The times provided encompass your entire celebration at Vacaville Ice Sports. During the initial hour, you'll be in your designated party room, and the remainder of the time will be dedicated to skating fun, including a lesson at the beginning.

When reserving a party, it's essential to establish a DaySmart Recreation Account first and ensure that you verify the email sent to your account in order to complete the party reservation successfully.

Keep in mind that if you're looking for a specific date and the search yields "no results found," it indicates that the date and time are already reserved or that we have not posted parties that far in advance yet. We only post about 2 months out at a time!

What is included in the birthday party package?A Vacaville Ice Sports birthday party package includes skate passes, goodie bags, and glow sticks for 12 guests. It also features pizza, drinks, a personalized cake, a Chilly the Penguin hat, access to the Vaca Ice treasure chest, balloons, and all necessary party supplies. Additionally, a 20-minute on-ice beginner skate lesson and games are conducted by the party host.

Are skate rentals included in the package?Yes - skate rentals are included for every guest pass.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?Unfortunately, Vacaville Ice Sports has a no outside food or drink policy. If you would like additional food, you can add on more pizza for $20 each or visit our snack bar for additional food and snack items.

Do you offer any party themes or decorations?We decorate the party room with the two color options selected at the time of booking. Decorations include tablecloths, paper plates, balloons in the selected color options. If you have additional decorations, you are welcome to bring them. However, we encourage you to only bring things that you can set up in 10 minutes or less, as the room may be occupied prior to your event.

Is a skating lesson included for beginners?Yes - Each birthday party includes a 20-minute beginner lesson from their Party Host at the beginning of their skating time. The lesson will include the basics skills of skating.

Are spectators allowed?Yes - Spectators are those who are welcome to celebrate with you and will not be skating. They also do not receive party amenities such as goodie bags or a seat at the table. If you plan to have spectators, we encourage you to add on additional pizzas so there is food for everyone.

Are waivers required for other guests?No - The skate pass sticker/wristband is an active waiver agreement of skating at the persons' own risk. If you would like a paper version of the waiver, let us know!

What kind of PIZZA is included?We order the pizzas from Pizzas Guys. They are large pizzas that have about 10-12 slices and feeds 3-4 people. The two pizza flavor option are cheese and pepperoni. Unfortunately, we are not able to do half cheese / half pepperoni as the flavor option for pizzas. Double cut slices is an option. Additional pizzas can be added for $20 each.

What kind of CAKE is included?We order our cakes from Sam's Club. They are 10" round cake that serves about 12-16 slices. The cake will be decorate similarly to match the 2 colors selected in the booking survey. The cake will have the wording layout: "Happy Birthday [Birthday Person's Name]" Cake Flavor Options: White or Chocolate Decorations: Flowers or Balloons Icing: Buttercreme or Whipped. (White or chocolate flavors only)

How will the communication between booking and birthday party date be handled?Once you have booked your birthday party package, we will receive confirmation of the reservation. We will contact you 1-2 weeks prior to your party date to go over all the details and make sure everything is ready to go. If you need to ADD guests or ADD pizzas please email: VacavilleParties@iceoplex.com. ALL PARTY ADDITIONS AND MODIFICATIONS MUST OCCUR ONE WEEK (7 DAYS) PRIOR TO YOUR PARTY DATE.

Can I arrive early to the party room time?You may arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your party room time, but no more than 10 minutes. Please keep in mind that arriving early might mean that your Party Host is still finishing up the setup of the room. Your party room is guaranteed to be ready at the start of the party room time.

Is gratuity included for Party Hosts?Gratuity is not included. If you feel that your Party Host has provided outstanding service and you'd like to show your appreciation, you have the option to provide a cash tip to them.

Can we skate before the party room time?To ensure the best flow and experience for everyone, we don't allow skating before your reserved party room time. Our schedule is designed so that you can enjoy skating for the entire duration of the public session, with the party room hour scheduled just before the session starts. If you'd like more flexibility with your party times, we can create a custom birthday party package that includes private ice, subject to availability. Send us an email - we are happy to discuss further options with you!

How long do we have access to the party room?You have the party room reserved for the one-hour duration. You may arrive 5-10 minutes before to meet your host and add your own decorations if necessary. All personal items will need to be removed from the party room at the end of the hour.
